EMOTIONS IN THE PHASE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING

‘Lockdown’, ‘Isolation’, ‘Quarantine’, ‘Social distancing’ – these words in last few days have grabbed our enough attention and it certainly has affected us in some or the other way.

Waking up to the snoozed alarm and working from home has increased our mood swings and going out has now become the largest craving.

This is the time, we are going through the phase of emotional transitions which not only effects our moods but also our each action gets affected.

Being locked at home, constantly working in the same environment might be tough because there is no exploration to the beautiful nature and only through our windows we are watching the blue canvas of sky.

Now, let us try to look this phase from different window.

  • Break from the BLUES

“Monday Blues yar!”, “Weekend kab ayega”, “Need a break man!”- all these phrases are always being heard often when our routine to work mode is on…. There is always a demand for break and readymade excuses to work from home. So this lockdown has gifted us with this break from all blues which we all face when our routine pushes us towards exhaustion. This distance is a cupcake which we have been desiring for long from the core of our heart. So with this break, let the blue color be on our Canvas of creativity and not in our schedule. Let’s all transform all weekday blues to the spring of creativity.

  • Time for the Change

After shaking away all the blues let us adapt to some changes which might transform us into something beyond our own imagination.

Wings of Creativity: Pick up a pen to make alive all the characters locked in your brain and set them free on paper. Color their lives with your imagination.

Flow in the Poetry: Like our thoughts carry vibrations, similarly our words carry emotions. Thoughts flowing through the words in poetry always have the power to heal us. Poetry when written and read from the heart always gives a blissful experience.

Dive in Quotes: Many of us like some quotes either received in notification or liked in Instagram/Facebook. It is now the time to pen it out in a diary and make it collection;collection of your quotes and also creating your own!!

  • Magical Meditation

During this phase it is necessary to compose ourselves- physically and mentally. The magic of meditation carries supreme powers to make us realize of how we are, how we feel, how far we have come, and how our presence needs to be felt. If possible, my dear readers, just add the syrup of meditation in your routine and very soon you will view the magic it does.

  • Mein Khud ki Favourite Hoon!!

Well, amazed by this line!!! This lockdown is a signal for all ourselves that this is the time to take a break and pamper ourselves as during the dusky and busy days of everyday life we are hardly able to do that.

Sipping from the coffee mugs, give yourself a big smile and appreciate yourself for where you have reached and how many storms you have crossed smilingly.

Treat yourself with delicious food and remind yourself that YES, you deserve such delicacy.

Observe the bright and beautiful sky during evenings and let yourself drown in the world of infinite thoughts.

  • Play in Rhythm

To all those, who know any musical instruments, grab this time and bring back the lost musicians you are!!!!

It is the time your musical instruments are calling you as they are craving for your love to shower on them. Accept this call as a signal of Universe and let all your emotions rhyme with your music. Within your musical instruments, feel the love they are giving you, the beautiful smile you are wearing and being greatful to yourself for such a great musician.

ALL MY EMOTIONS ARE RHYMING WITH NATURE.

Well, doing, creating, and having different experiences in this social distancing is not as easy as it seems. Breakdown, laziness, gloomy moods, updates of the pandemic, changes in environment, etc… all this will keep us impacting in our thoughts and actions. We might feel not to do anything and constantly having the feel to go to sleep and also gloomy moods will impact us deeply.

It is very much okay to go through all these, but at the same time pushing ourself ahead and diverting our minds is really needed at this hour.

So, let us all together not only beat this pandemic but also uplift our emotional spirit and help others in it too.

By bringing out our hidden talented spirits and uplifting it we can surely make our emotions rhyme with nature.
